Abstract
This study analyzes the contribution of the occurrence reports produced by the Integrated Command and Control Center (CICC) of Campina Grande to the ostensive operational planning of the Military Police, emphasizing information quality. It is a descriptive and documentary case study, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, which analyzed the 2,839 occurrences from the municipalities of Campina Grande, Boa Vista, Lagoa Seca, and Massaranduba recorded in March 2026. The main source was the consolidated CPR I spreadsheet exported from the Military Police's internal system (SIGPMPB), ordinarily used by planning sections; the PDF reports from SIGPMPB and CICC and the CICC spreadsheet were used in a complementary way, in addition to a questionnaire applied to twelve police officers and enlisted personnel. The analysis showed that the sources are complementary, none being sufficient on its own for planning, and identified relevant quality limitations: entirely unfilled fields, the absence of a breakdown of response times in 100% of the records, divergence between the initial and final classification in 64.1% of cases, and the impossibility of attributing occurrences to the responsible battalion. It was also found that part of the information missing from the planning spreadsheet exists at the source, in the CICC, evidencing information loss in the integration between the systems. It is concluded that the reports contribute to operational planning, but in a manner limited by data quality and availability, pointing to improvements aimed at strengthening institutional information management.
