Resumo
Considerado um dos instrumentos documentais mais utilizados pela corporação policial, o boletim de ocorrência pode reunir informações de extrema importância para as atividades do âmbito penal e para a gestão da segurança pública. Para tanto, o presente artigo buscou analisar o preenchimento dos boletins de ocorrência da Polícia Militar da Paraíba em sua relação com a formação do policial militar para a elaboração desses registros, realizando uma análise documental no 2o e no 10o BPM de Campina Grande entre janeiro e abril de 2026. Foi necessário compreender aspectos relacionados ao preenchimento dos boletins de ocorrência e à preparação profissional dos policiais militares responsáveis pela elaboração desses documentos, considerando a importância administrativa, operacional e institucional desses registros para a atividade policial. Os resultados evidenciaram a existência de falhas recorrentes no preenchimento dos boletins, especialmente quanto à completude das informações, à descrição dos materiais apreendidos, à fundamentação da fundada suspeita, ao registro do uso de algemas e à qualidade dos históricos das ocorrências, além de indicarem limitações na formação específica voltada à elaboração desses documentos. Conclui-se que os achados contribuem para o aprimoramento da formação profissional, da padronização da produção documental policial e da qualidade dos registros produzidos no âmbito da segurança pública.
Abstract
Considered one of the most frequently used documentary tools by police forces, the police incident report can gather information of critical importance for criminal justice activities and public security management. To this end, this article sought to analyze how the Paraíba Military Police fill out incident reports in relation to the training military police officers receive for drafting such records, conducting a document analysis at the 2nd and 10th Military Police Battalions (BPM) in Campina Grande between January and April 2026.It was necessary to understand aspects related to the completion of police reports and the professional training of the military police officers responsible for drafting these documents, considering the administrative, operational, and institutional importance of these records to police activity. The results revealed recurring errors in the completion of the forms, especially regarding the completeness of the information, the description of the seized materials, to the basis for the founded suspicion, to the record of the use of handcuffs, and to the quality of the incident reports, in addition to pointing out limitations in the specific training aimed at the preparation of these documents. It is concluded that the findings contribute to the enhancement of professional training, the standardization of police documentation, and the quality of records produced within the scope of public security.
