JORNADA DE TRABALHO E QUALIDADE DE VIDA NA POLÍCIA MILITAR DA PARAÍBA: DESAFIOS PARA A GESTÃO DE PESSOAS NA SEGURANÇA PÚBLICA

Resumo
Este trabalho foi desenvolvido com o objetivo de analisar a jornada de trabalho dos policiais militares da Paraíba e quais impactos essa carga horária pode trazer para a vida particular destes policiais, dadas as circunstâncias tanto particulares como da instituição, as quais acarretam uma sobrecarga de trabalho para o policial, o que pode trazer consequências que possam atrapalhar a sua rotina fora da caserna, a exemplo de dificuldades de gerenciamento de atividades particulares e até no convívio com seus familiares. Como fundamentação para este trabalho foram levantados alguns referenciais teóricos que tratam do mesmo assunto em organizações policiais militares de outros Estados da Federação, bem como algumas referências em leis a nível estadual e federal e resoluções do Comandante Geral da PMPB. Foram analisadas informações coletadas através de um questionário, instrumento de pesquisa utilizado neste artigo, e estas serviram como base para este artigo. O questionário foi de grande valia para essa pesquisa, pois pode nos fornece informações suficientes para que pudéssemos ter um parâmetro da jornada de trabalho a qual os policiais militares se submetem e as consequências que essa jornada de trabalho pode trazer.
Abstract
This work was developed with the objective of analyzing the work schedule of police officers in Paraíba and the impacts this workload can have on their personal lives, given both personal and institutional situations that lead to an overload of work for the police officer. This can have consequences that disrupt their routine outside the barracks, such as difficulties in managing personal activities and even in their relationships with their families. As a foundation for this work, some theoretical references addressing the same subject in military police organizations from other states of the Federation were consulted, as well as references in state and federal laws and resolutions of the General Commander of the PMPB (Military Police of Paraíba). Information was collected through a questionnaire, the research instrument used in this article, and this served as the basis for this study. The questionnaire was of great value to this research, as it provided sufficient information to establish a parameter for the work schedule to which military police officers are subjected and the consequences that this work schedule can bring.
